| Mount Maunganui | |  | | This place was a dump!! Washing hanging everywhere on the terrace and stairs, very small and untidy kitchen and common areas. Our room was upstairs and the only toilet(dirty) was downstairs on the other side of the building!! A few dodgy looking people around as well. We only slept there, we left as soon as we got up the next day. | | |

| Buller Gorge | | | | came here a little tired looking for a breather, ended up enjoying a nice walk, watched some rafters fighting rapids, and took a refreshing dip in the buller. left feeling great. | | |
